About PDF to Image
Drop a PDF. All pages start selected. Pick JPG, PNG, or WebP, then 72, 150, or 300 DPI. JPG and WebP also have a quality field (0.3 to 0.95). Convert draws each selected page as a picture. One image downloads on its own. Two or more download as a zip.
It does not pull embedded photos out of the file. Each output is the whole page, including margins and text, drawn on white. 150 DPI is the default. 300 DPI is slower and larger.
How to use PDF to Image
- 1Drop a PDF. Thumbnails load locally. All pages start selected.
- 2Pick format and DPI. JPG is smaller. PNG is sharper for diagrams. WebP sits in between. Set quality for JPG or WebP.
- 3Select pages. Untick pages you do not want. Leave all ticked to export every page.
- 4Convert and download. A zip if you exported more than one image.
Limits and privacy
Pages are drawn in this browser. Nothing is uploaded. Each file can be 25MB on a phone or 50MB on a desktop. Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened. No account.
FAQs
- JPG, PNG, or WebP?
- Switch the format before you convert. Quality applies to JPG and WebP only. PNG has no quality slider.
- When do images download as a zip?
- When two or more pages are exported. One page downloads as a single image.
- Does this extract photos from inside the PDF?
- No. Each output is a picture of the whole page, including margins and text.
- Which DPI should I use?
- 150 is the default for sharing. 72 is smaller and quicker. 300 is for print-like sharpness and makes larger files.
- Is the background transparent?
- No. Pages are drawn on white. A scan keeps its paper color.
