Search engine optimization
Audit a site, check tags and links, generate sitemaps and schema.
Do I need an account?
No. Every tool on this list runs without a login. Fetch results last for that request. Builders keep the draft on your device until you copy or download. Closing the page drops the run. There is no saved report history.
How many can I run per hour?
SEO Audit is three runs per hour on your network. Broken Link Checker and Sitemap Generator are five. Most single-URL fetch tools sit near 20 per minute. A private window does not reset those caps.
What these tools cover
These 27 tools read the HTML as the server sends it. JavaScript is not executed, so a client-only shell can look empty. Nothing is uploaded. There is no account. The scored audit and the other checkers also pull robots.txt, sitemap XML, DNS, TLS, or WHOIS when that is the job.
Fetch tools take a public URL or a bounded crawl. Builders stay in the browser until you copy. Sitemap XML is built from a crawl on our side, then you download the file. Loopback and reserved addresses never leave as a request.
What they deliberately do not do
They do not track ranks, pull backlink graphs, or show keyword volume. Those figures need paid indexes. We do not invent a volume number from HTML. There is no Lighthouse lab run and no Core Web Vitals.
Keyword density, clustering, and rank checks live under Keyword Tools. This group does not log in to Search Console and does not keep a report history. A pass is a reading of this response, not a promise that Google will index the URL.
The 27 tools
Diagnose: SEO Audit (scored 25-to-500-page HTML crawl), Indexability Checker (robots, meta robots, X-Robots-Tag, canonical), Broken Link Checker (404/410/500+, not 401/403), Redirect Checker (hops, cap 10), HTTP Header Checker (response headers).
On-page: Meta Tag Analyzer (title/description pixels, 600/920 desktop), SERP Preview (no fetch), Heading Analyzer (Skip, Long >70), Image Alt Checker (missing, empty, long alt), Canonical Checker (target, 5 hops), Hreflang Checker (this HTML only), Open Graph Checker (four required og tags), Link Analyzer (anchor inventory, no live statuses).
Content: Duplicate Content (5-gram overlap) and Readability Checker (about 30 words and 2 sentences, or Too short). Crawl control: robots.txt Tester (path and user-agent), Sitemap Validator (50k/50MB caps, 20-loc sample), Sitemap Generator (default 500, max 2,000, Visual and XML), robots.txt Generator (one group in the browser).
Schema: Schema Validator (live JSON-LD; pass is not a rich-result guarantee) and Schema Generator (typed JSON-LD). Generate: Meta Tag Generator, Open Graph Generator, Favicon Generator. Infrastructure: DNS Lookup (A through SOA, SPF/DKIM/DMARC), SSL Checker (443 handshake), WHOIS / RDAP (registry dates and lock, no port-43 fallback).
Where to start
On a site you have not audited, run SEO Audit first so the score and page table show the first HTML across a crawl. Next, Indexability Checker on the homepage: if that URL is Blocked, the audit graded documents crawlers may skip. Third, Broken Link Checker. The audit table counts hrefs; Check links classifies 404 destinations.
FAQs
- Do I need an account?
- No. Every tool on this list runs without a login. Fetch results last for that request. Builders keep the draft on your device until you copy or download. Closing the page drops the run. There is no saved report history.
- How many can I run per hour?
- SEO Audit is three runs per hour on your network. Broken Link Checker and Sitemap Generator are five. Most single-URL fetch tools sit near 20 per minute. A private window does not reset those caps.
- Do you store my URLs?
- No. The URL is used for that fetch or crawl, then discarded. There is no mailbox of past runs. Do not paste credentials or a signed-in admin path. Loopback and reserved addresses are rejected before a request is sent.
- Why don't you show keyword volume?
- Volume and backlink counts come from paid indexes. We do not estimate them from HTML. Use Keyword Tools for live autocomplete and clustering. This category measures what the server sent.
- Do these work on a JavaScript site?
- They read the first HTML the origin sends. JavaScript is not executed. A React shell can look empty even when the painted page is full. Use a server-rendered URL, or paste text in Duplicate Content and Readability Checker.
- Which should I run first?
- SEO Audit, then Indexability Checker on the homepage, then Broken Link Checker. That order shows crawl-wide HTML issues, then whether the start URL is allowed, then which hrefs return 404, 410, or 500+.
- Are these the same as Screaming Frog?
- No. Frog can render JavaScript, crawl past 500 pages, and keep a desktop project. These tools stop at the first HTML, cap the audit and link sweep at 500, and cap sitemap generation at 2,000.
