Drop a PDF and convert. The tool reads the text layer page by page and builds a .docx. Bold, italic, size, headings, and left, centre, or right alignment are preserved when the text objects carry them. A preview of the wording appears before you download.
This is not a pixel-perfect replica of every box and table. Columns and exact coordinates are simplified. Tables become sequential paragraphs. Image-only scans have no text to convert, so conversion is refused. This is not OCR.

Limits and privacy
Conversion runs in this browser. The PDF is not uploaded. 25MB on a phone, 50MB on a desktop. Password-protected files cannot be opened. No account.
FAQs
- Will it look like the PDF?
- Close on headings and emphasis. Columns, tables, and exact placement are simplified.
- Why did conversion fail on a scan?
- There is no text layer. Run OCR in other software first, or type from the image.
- What happens to tables?
- They become sequential text, not a Word table grid. PDF to Excel is a better first step for a spreadsheet-like layout.
- Are pictures in the PDF included?
- No. This conversion is the text layer only. Pictures on the page are not placed as images in the Word file.
- Can I convert only some PDF pages to Word?
- Extract those pages first, then convert that shorter PDF.
