About PDF to Excel

Drop a PDF and convert. Each line of the text layer becomes a row. If a line contains tabs, those become cells. Otherwise, two or more spaces split a line into columns. One worksheet named PDF holds everything. If the file has more than one page, a Page N label is inserted before that page's rows.

This is not a reconstruction of every cell border. True table structure is best-effort. Image-only scans have nothing to extract. Check the preview and fix columns in Excel if a line did not split.

FAQs

Will every table map cell for cell?
No. Columns come from tabs or wide gaps in the text layer, not from drawn grid lines.
Why is the spreadsheet empty?
The PDF has no text layer. That is typical of a scanned invoice. Use OCR software first.
Where do extra pages go?
Into the same sheet, with a Page N row before each page's lines.
How is this different from PDF to Text?
PDF to Text is one plain box. This page splits lines into a grid you can open in Excel.
Can I convert only one page?
Extract that page first, then convert the shorter PDF.
