About Extract Pages
Drop a PDF, then tick pages or set a from-to range. Extract writes one new PDF that contains only those pages. Select all picks every page. You need at least one page.
Checkbox order is kept: the first page you tick is first in the output. A from-to range replaces the selection with that span in numeric order. Selecting the same page twice is ignored.
How to use Extract Pages
- 1Open a PDF. Thumbnails render in the browser.
- 2Select pages. Tick thumbnails, use from-to, or Select all.
- 3Click Extract pages. You get one PDF, not a zip.
- 4Download. Confirm the page count in a reader.
Limits and privacy
Extract runs in this browser. Files are not uploaded. Each PDF can be 25MB on a phone or 50MB on a desktop. Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened. No account. You download a new PDF. The file you picked is not changed.
FAQs
- One file or many?
- Always one PDF with the pages you picked. For many files, use Split PDF.
- Does tick order change the output order?
- Yes for checkboxes. The first page you select is first in the new file. A from-to range uses numeric order instead.
- How is this different from Delete Pages?
- Extract keeps the pages you tick. Delete Pages removes the pages you tick and keeps the rest, in the original order.
- Can I extract the same page twice?
- No. A page is included once.
- What if I select every page?
- You get a copy of the whole file as a new download. The PDF you picked is not changed.
