About Article Rewriter
Paste an article of up to 4,000 characters. Choose a tone (match source, more casual, more formal, or simpler language) and a strength (light, standard, or heavy). You get one rewrite as plain text, split into paragraphs. The result shows source words, output words, and a similarity percentage.
Similarity compares your paste to the rewrite using the same five-word passage method as the Duplicate Content tool. It does not search the web. A warning appears if similarity is 50% or higher, or if the rewrite is under 85% of the source word count.
Light rephrases sentence by sentence and keeps paragraph order. Standard may restructure paragraphs. Heavy may reorder the piece. Numbers, quotes, names, and URLs are meant to stay. This rewrites the article; it does not summarise it.
How to use Article Rewriter
- 1Paste the article. Cap is 4,000 characters. The meter under the box shows how much you have used.
- 2Set tone and strength. Match source and Standard are the defaults. Light keeps paragraph order. Heavy may reorder the piece.
- 3Click Rewrite. The rewrite appears below as paragraphs.
- 4Read the stats. If similarity is 50% or more, try Heavy. If output words fall well below the source, split the article and rewrite in chunks.
Limits and privacy
Each rewrite is sent to OpenRouter for that request only. aiaq.io does not keep a prompt history. Two successful rewrites per hour on this page, ten across the five AI tools, keyed by your network IP. A private window does not reset the cap. If the request fails or OpenRouter is busy, that run does not count. No account.
FAQs
- What is the difference between Light, Standard, and Heavy?
- Light rephrases sentence by sentence and keeps paragraph order. Standard may restructure paragraphs. Heavy may reorder the whole article. None of these modes is a summary.
- What does the similarity percentage measure?
- Shared five-word passages between your paste and the rewrite, the same method as Duplicate Content. It is only against this paste, not a search of the web.
- When does the shorter-output warning appear?
- When the rewrite is under 85% of the source word count. Check the last lines and any lists. If something is missing, split the article and run each part.
- What is meant to stay the same?
- Numbers, quotes, names, URLs, and the number of items in a list. Match source also aims to keep the original tone. Casual, formal, and simpler change register only.
- How is this different from the Paraphrasing Tool?
- This page returns one rewrite. At Heavy it may reorder the article. Paraphrasing keeps the original order and gives you three separately scored variations.
