Error correction is L, M, Q, or H (M is the default). Dark and Light must be six-digit hex. The on-screen preview is 220 CSS pixels; the download uses the size you picked.
Generation is local. There is no logo in the middle and no scanner. URL mode does not validate that the string is a well-formed URL.
How to use QR Code Generator
- 1Pick Type. URL, Text, Wi-Fi, or vCard.
- 2Fill the fields. Wi-Fi needs an SSID. WPA and WEP also need a password.
- 3Tune size, error correction, and colors. Higher error correction survives damage. Size is the download pixel size.
- 4Download PNG or Download SVG. SVG scales for print. The preview is a smaller on-screen PNG.
Wi-Fi, vCard, and files
Wi-Fi encodes the standard WIFI: payload, including the password when Security is WPA or WEP. Open disables the password field. Hidden network sets H:true. Treat the PNG as a secret if the password is in it. SSID characters such as semicolon are escaped.
vCard is VERSION:3.0 with name, and optional organization, phone, email, and website. SVG is the better print format. Test a scan before a large print run. Higher error correction survives damage and needs more modules.
Limits and privacy
The QR is built in your browser. Fields are not uploaded. No account. A Wi-Fi code that includes a password is as sensitive as writing that password down.
