When do city prompts appear?

When Location has text, or when Topic type is Local business. A concept with no city prints 0 in the Local tally.

What is in the tracking download versus the prompt CSV?

The prompt CSV is bucket and prompt. The tracking CSV repeats every prompt for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity, with empty date, mentioned (y/n), position, cited URL, and notes.

Can this tell me if ChatGPT already cites my site?

A finished run shows a count such as 60 prompts for Acme Analytics, six bucket tallies, and a copy control on each list. Downloads are a prompt CSV and a tracking CSV with columns prompt, engine, date, mentioned (y/n), position, cited URL, notes. This is not a citation tracker.

When to use it

Use it after the public pages exist, when you need a repeatable set of questions to paste into the four engines. Use it when a competitor is named in answers and you have no log of the prompts that surface them. Rebuild the list when the product name or the competitor set changes, not after every blog post.

How to use AI Prompt List Builder

1Enter Topic / brand / product. Required. Optional: Industry, Target customer, Location, and up to five competitor names.
2Choose Topic type. Product / service, Concept / topic, or Local business. Unset uses the inferred type shown under the cards. Concepts can take an Action verb.
3Click Generate prompts. Read the bucket counts, then copy a list or download CSV. An empty topic shows Enter a topic, brand, or product.
4Paste into the engines and fill the tracking CSV. Columns are prompt, engine, date, mentioned (y/n), position, cited URL, notes. You record the answers. The tool does not.

Why this matters for AI search

Visibility can only be measured by asking the engines. There is no public index of what ChatGPT will say about your brand. A robots.txt allow and a clean lede do not tell you if the model names you. You have to type the question and record the mention.

What this tool cannot do

It cannot query ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity. Paid APIs would be required for that, and this page does not call them. It cannot invent competitor names or prove a mention. Generation is local. No hourly cap. Closing the page clears the list.
